How to Delete Your Kojo Account

We value your privacy and respect your decision if you choose to delete your Kojo account. Please note that account deletion must be performed from within the Kojo app. This security measure ensures that only you, as the account owner, can request deletion of your account and associated data.

Steps to Delete Your Account:

  1. Open the Kojo app on your mobile device
  2. Log in to your account if you're not already logged in
  3. Navigate to the "Profile" or "Settings" section
  4. Scroll down and select "Account Settings"
  5. Tap on "Delete Account" option
  6. Follow the prompts to confirm your decision

For your security, we cannot process account deletion requests via email, phone, or this website. The deletion process must be initiated from within the app using your logged-in credentials.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your Kojo account, the following will occur:

  • Your profile information will be permanently deleted
  • Your meal logs, food entries, and dietary data will be removed from our active databases
  • Your health data and personal information will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • You will lose access to your subscription benefits if you are a Kojo Plus member
  • You will no longer receive emails or notifications from us

Please note that some information may be retained in our backup systems for a limited period, after which it will be fully deleted in accordance with our data retention policies. Certain data may also be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as records of purchases or customer service interactions.
